Konami is set to host a Silent Hill Transmission event later tonight, promising a look at the future of the acclaimed psychological horror series after over a decade of silence. Fans are expecting to see a few of the long-rumoured games make an appearance at the showcase, including Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake and a new mainline entry that supposedly involves former Team Silent members Masahiro Ito and Akira Yamaoka. Here’s when and where you can watch the event.
First and foremost, the Silent Hill Transmission event will kick off at 2PM PDT or 11PM SAST. According to the length of the stream, it will run for 48 minutes and 46 seconds, making it a lengthy showcase that’s bound to have more than one surprise in store for fans.

You’ll be able to watch the Silent Hill Transmission stream on YouTube via the official Silent Hill channel. We’ve also embedded the video below. The premiere time is currently set for 10:50PM SAST, which will count down ten minutes prior to the event kicking off.
As for what fans can expect from this stream, we only have rumours to go on at this point. It’s likely that we’ll see the leaked Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team appear at the show, including “Project Sakura” which is the mainline project believed to have Ito and Yamaoka on board. Annapurna Interactive is also rumoured to be developing an episodic Silent Hill game, while filmmaker Christophe Gans is working on a third live-action Silent Hill movie. Gans recently spilled the beans on Konami having multiple Silent Hill projects in development.
One thing we should probably not expect is Silent Hills, the cancelled Hideo Kojima project that reports months ago stated could be revived. Some notable journalists came fourth to debunk this theory, in addition to it not making sense for Kojima to appear at a Konami event given the game creator’s historical fallout with the company.
Make sure you tune into the Silent Hill Transmission event tonight at 11PM SAST or 2PM PDT. Catch the stream below.
