Silo Season 2 Gets November Release Date

Apple TV+’s sci-fi show Silo will return in November for its second season. The Silo Season 2 will debut on 15 November. There will only be one episode on the day and Apple will release more weekly.

Silo Season 2 is expected to include 10 episodes in total which will launch weekly until January 2025. The second season arrives over a year after the first which debuted back in May 2023. The production on Season 2 was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes.

During San Diego Comic Con (catch up with all the announcements here), The White Lotus’ Steve Zahn confirmed his role in the new season. He was joined on a panel with showrunner Graham Yost, author and executive producer Hugh Howey, executive producer Rebecca Ferguson and star Common.

The first season of Silo did quite well in terms of ratings. The show ended with an 88% critic score and a 65% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. it follows the story of ten thousand people who live under the surface of a planet. The people aren’t sure why they live there and why the surface is a dangerous place.

When the people start digging into the origin of the Silo, they face dangerous organizations trying to keep secrets. The second season will explore the surface of the planet and these darker secrets even more.

New cast members have also joined the show including Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McCrae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen.
