The MediEvil PS4 release date could have just been leaked and Sony could be announcing a possible release date for their upcoming remake of MediEvil today. Sony is hosting their first-ever State of Play stream tonight at 23:00 where they plan on showcasing new games, release dates and other news on everything “PlayStation”.

MediEvil could be on the agenda as according to the recently-announced merchandise line by Forbidden Planet, the range of shirts, coasters, mugs and coffee holders will be available on 2 June 2019.
The merchandise could be pointing to the game’s release date as the products have quite a delayed release window considering they are just shirts and easy-to-brand items. The products could be part of the release rollout for the remake which would make sense.

If this is the case, Sony will most likely reveal more tonight during the stream where they will hopefully announce a June release window for Sir Daniel Fortesque’s resurrection.
The game was announced back in December of 2018 and people went crazy about it. The game is a full remake from the ground up featuring the same great story of the PS One original but completely remade for current hardware. It will also feature PS4 Pro support with 4K and HDR.
