Skydance’s Behemoth, the epic fantasy VR game, finally has a release date. The title received a first look at gameplay during the PlayStation State of Play event back in May this year, promising grand visuals, intense gameplay and larger-than-life foes to encounter. The good news is that fans won’t have to wait very long to get their hands on this promising virtual reality experience as it’s scheduled to arrive this November.
Developer Skydance Games previously worked on the underrated The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR game, so the upcoming Behemoth is certainly in good hands. It was announced back in 2022 and was originally meant to launch in late 2023 but got pushed back. We now have confirmation that it will launch on 14 November 2024 for PS VR2, Meta Quest 2 and 3 and PC VR at $39,99.
Pre-orders are already open on the Meta Quest storefront and via the official website for Skydance’s Behemoth, though pre-orders on PlayStation and PC via Steam will only open on 28 August. Pre-order bonuses include the Ancient Hero’s Sword, Thornwood Bow, Behemoth Bone Axe and Bronze Grappling Hook.
