Other than that we don’t know anything about the game. Sonic Forces 2 may pick up where the original game left off. Keep in mind that the original release was way back in 2017 and it did not go down as well as SEGA hoped. Critics, like ourselves, felt that the game was less than impressive. Its wonky platforming, poor characters, dialogue and the uninspired story was a major step back for the series.
Sonic Forces acted as a reboot of such for the series. Players could create their own avatar and control it during the game. Each character had unique abilities and equipment players could put on them to add to the experience. Unfortunately, this system failed to deliver any excitement amidst the disastrous gameplay. SEGA just needs to make a Sonic Generations 2. That is all.
