Sony Announces New Boring Limited Edition Days of Play PS4 Console

Sony is not at E3 2019 but that is not stopping them from hosting the annual Days of Play campaign. The yearly event sees Sony discount a wide range of PlayStation hardware and games and of course, every year they release a limited edition Days of Play PS4 console too.

This year’s Days of Play PS4 console is well, pretty meh. As you can see from the trailer below, the console is as plain as it gets. Sure, it has a “steel gray” shade to it and the PlayStation symbols on the front, but it is just nothing to gawk at.

The standout feature has to be the 1TB hard drive packed in the Days of Play PS4 but other than that, it is just another standard console. The PS4 will go on sale sometime in June during E3 and be priced around the same point as last year’s console which was $299. If all goes to plan, you will most likely be able to pick this up in SA for around R5,299.

We will update you about local pricing and availability as well as all the other games and hardware Sony will have on sale during the Days of Play event. In the meantime, check out the latest Monster Hunter World: Iceborne coverage as well as a glimpse at Final Fantasy VII Remake that is said to debut at E3 2019 next month.
