The service will cost either R48.50 per month or R299 per year an and offer unlimited access to EA’s vault of games including older ones and current ones like FIFA 19. EA Access for PS4 will also offer access to upcoming games in early access as well as 10% discount on game purchases under certain conditions.

If you have an active subscription to EA access on Xbox One or PC, you will still need to get a separate one for PS4 as they do not go across platforms.

PS4 owners have been missing out on early access to titles due to EA Access not being available. Anthem, which released earlier this year saw PS4 owners have to wait an extra week to get access to the game due to the early access period locking them out of playing until launch day.

EA has yet to reveal what games will be coming to PS4 when it launches but it could include all older games on the service. We will have to wait and see what happens when the service releases on PS4 this July.
