Last month Sony sent out an email to everyone that unlocked the God of War platinum trophy and they are rewarding Marvel’s Spider-Man platinum trophy owners the same thing. While the avatar being rewarded is not as glamorous as the God of War one, it is still a pretty cool reward for unlocking all the trophies in the game.

According to players that have finished the main game’s trophy set, an email with a code was found in their mailbox and upon redeeming it, it unlocked the Marvel’s Spider-Man platinum trophy avatar reward.
The avatar is a bust of Spider-Man looking down into the city. Unfortunately, there is no sign of the actual trophy in the image unlike the God of War avatar but it is still pretty cool.
Marvel’s Spider-Man has the highest platinum trophy earn rate of any PS4 exclusive releases to date with an all-time high of 9.7% of all owners unlocking the trophy. That means that a lot of your PSN friends will soon have this avatar on their profile.
Marvel’s Spider-Man released in September of last year to critical success. Developed by Insomniac Games and published exclusively for PS4, the game sees you take on the role of Peter Parker as you fight the infamous Sinister Six. If you have not played it, we highly recommend you do.
