Official PS5 Site Goes Live – Sony “Not Quite Ready” For Full Reveal

We are making progress… sort of. Sony has launched the official PlayStation 5 website hinting at a possible reveal quite soon. The company originally launched a German PS5 home page but soon after, Sony Interactive Entertainment UK went live with their next-gen console site too.

Unfortunately, the site does not reveal any new information in regards to the unannounced console nor does it hint at a reveal date for it. The PS5 website simply acts as a place where users can sign up for more information if they are interested.

The official PS5 website reads;

We’ve begun to share some of the incredible features you can expect from PlayStation 5, but we’re not quite ready to fully unveil the next generation of PlayStation. Sign up below to be among the first to receive updates as we announce them, including news on the PS5 release date, PS5 price and the upcoming roster of PS5 launch games.

Over on the UK site, which launched a bit later than the German one, users can enter their details into the contact form so Sony can send you new information about the PlayStation 5.

According to past leaks, Sony was actually meant to host a reveal event for the upcoming next-gen console this week but they have said nothing at all. Recent rumours have also revealed that the company is waiting for Microsoft to reveal its Xbox Series X pricing before announcing the PlayStation 5 price but that should not get in the way of the reveal should it?
