Sony Shares Launch Windows for Horizon: Forbidden West, Ghostwire Tokyo and More at CES 2021

Sony kicked off its CES 2021 press conference in the early hours of this morning where the company shared new details from across all of its divisions. This included Columbia Pictures, new advancements in self-driving cars and of course, the PS5. Sony opened the conference with the console highlighting the success of the hardware of the past few months. In addition, Sony President Kenichiro Yoshida detailed the console’s hardware advancements including the SSD and DualSense controller.

Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan then took over to speak specifically about the PlayStation brand as a whole. He shared the news on the expansion of the PlayStation IP into “new media” including the upcoming Uncharted movie and The Last of Us series on HBO. Jim also claimed that the PS5 was Sony Interactive Entertainment’s biggest console launch of all time.

However, the biggest news out of the press conference when it came to the PlayStation brand was the release windows of upcoming timed and exclusive PS5 games. At the end of the video, Sony listed the titles which showcased during the stream. It read;

Ratchet and Clank: Coming 2021, Horizon Forbidden West: Coming 2021, Returnal: Coming 03/19/21, Pragmata: Coming 2023, Solar Ash: June 2021, Kena: March 2021, Stray: October 2021, Ghostwire: Tokyo: October 2021, Little Devil Inside: July 2021, Project Athia: January 2022 and Hitman III: January 2021.

So there you have a list of a handful of PS5 games coming to the console soon and in the coming years ahead. Pragmata, developed by Capcom won’t see the light of day until 2023. However, the good news is that gamers can look forward to all the other games coming their way soon. Keep in mind that the trailer was also missing a few titles too including Gran Turismo 7.
