Sony’s exclusive marketing partnership is coming in handy with Warner Bros and its upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game. The company revealed the first batch of PlayStation-exclusive content for the game which includes a whole dungeon, a cosmetic set and an in-game shop.
Now exclusive content is nothing new with Sony. In fact, the company usually leverages its partnerships with publishers like Square Enix and Warner Bros. to work on content only released on the PlayStation platforms. This is nothing new.
If you’re not picking up Hogwarts Legacy on PS4 or PS5, you’ll sadly miss out on this “Haunted Hogsmeade Shop DLC”. Warner Bros. has yet to share specific details on whether or not this content is time gated for PlayStation platforms. Usually, these contracts last six to twelve months meaning you’ll only get it (most likely as a paid DLC drop) in 2024 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop DLC sees players explore the haunted shop as a playable dungeon. Here, players will explore the mind-bending underbelly of the store as they complete puzzles, fight off reanimated mannequins and solve the mystery as to why the ghosts of the Hogsmeade still remain restless.
Madam Mason has a Hogsmeade shop to sell – but there’s a catch. Uncover what lies beneath this haunted shop during a PlayStation exclusive quest.
Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch on 10 February 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
