Soul Reaver I & II Remastered

Soul Reaver I & II Remastered Leaks Online

It seems that Crystal Dynamics is working on a Soul Reaver I & II Remastered game. Spotted and San Diego Comic Con, a figurine collection featuring Raziel and Kain included branding for a so-called “Soul Reaver I & II Remastered” version.

The figurines have seemingly been designed and created for the remastered collection. While the game hasn’t been announced yet, the logo for the project was included in the branding for these two toys. The toys include one Raziel statue where the Soul Reaver is clinging to a pillar with his sword.

The other includes Kain standing on top of some bones and rocks pointing his sword into the distance. It also seems as if you can put these two statues together to create on diorama. They have been created by Dark Horse.

While the statues are cool, the fact that the official “Soul Reaver I & II Remastered” logo is on the label is even better. The logo isn’t just a bunch of text either but looks like something designed for the game itself.

Again, the project hasn’t been officially announced yet. Crystal Dynamics hasn’t responded to the leak either. However, given how authentic this leak is, I say we can expect a reveal anytime now.

Crystal Dynamics has been gearing up to reveal something in the Legacy of Kain series. A new prequel comic was revealed earlier this month called Soul Reaver: The Dead Shall Rise. The comic follows the story of Raziel during his human years and seemingly takes place before the events of the first Soul Reaver game.

The sign-up page for the comic confirmed this in its Kickstarter announcement.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise arrives just in time for the 25th anniversary of the original Soul Reaver game, offering fans the first new narrative in the series since 2003’s Legacy of Kain: Defiance. This publication promises to be a significant event for the series’ devotees, who can sign up on the BackerKit prelaunch page to receive an email alert when the project goes live. As a bonus, everyone who signs up will get a free digital image from the officially approved Crystal Dynamics Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver archives after the project launches, adding a special incentive for long-time fans of the franchise.

The Soul Reaver series, alongside the original Legacy of Kain series, have both been missing in action for over a decade now. The last game, The Legacy of Kain: Defiance was released back in 2004.
