Boet Fighter Steam

South African-Developed Boet Fighter Steam Page Now Live, Okes

The highly anticipated South African-Development beat em’ up, Boet Fighter now has a Steam page in anticipation for its September 2019 release date.

Created by Cali4ways games, the upcoming, and quite frankly pretty awesome game about an oke trying to save his binnet who has kidnapped by some other charna, plans to release on Steam in just a couple of weeks.

Playtesting and the beta process is currently underway as Cali4ways updated us on the current progress of the game just last week with images revealing the game being played in the office.

The Steam page lets users add the title to their wishlist so when the game does go live, they will be instantly notified.

The Steam page details Boet Fighter as the following:

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]It’s literally the schweetest and most tit flippin’ game you’ve ever checked in your laaf, boet. It’s a side-scrolling 2D ,platformbeat ém up in the style of Double Dragon and Golden Axe, and with a smidgen of Street Fighter and a sprinkle or two of creatine, and some grey-legal-area performance enhancing chemicals imported from Eastern Europe.

It can bench-press 150kg. In each hand.  As a warm up.  Only people who are proper d@*ses, with slow cars and unattractive girlfriends do not like it.[/perfectpullquote]

I saw the game in action just a couple of weeks ago when I went to record my lines for a super-secret role in the game. It made me all quite excited to play it and I put together a guide of 5 reasons why you should be excited for it too here.

Of course, we will have to just be patient for the Boet Fighter release date but the game is expected to land on PC first followed by iOS and Android, with console releases planned for a future launch.
