Todd McFarlane’s Spawn is coming to Mortal Kombat 11 after a long wait. The final add-on character is part of the game’s Kombat Pack and will wrap up the DLC content for the game after other characters like the Joker, which I loved, by the way, made their debut previously. Spawn will release on 17 March 2020 for Kombat Pack owners and on 24 March for everyone whereas he will be able to be purchased separately.

The Spawn Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay debut trailer showcased the latest fighter in a new light and proved that he is no pushover. Spawn features a series of deadly attacks using his chains but his most iconic move sets will come from his epic cape that holds an axe, sword and even a spike club as we see Spawn pull out a different weapon for each attack. The gameplay trailer even shows the fighter glide in the air while in his classic costume.
He seems pretty hardcore from the look of things and hit fatality sees him tie his opponents up with chains as he rips the flesh off their bones and then continues to de-meat them with his cape. I do love the grab move that sees him jump in the air, open his cape and fire a dozen machine guns at his opponent at once.
The Spawn Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer also shows off some new looks for Nightworld, Jacquie Briggs, and Erron Black. The DLC marks the sixth and final character announced for Mortal Kombat 11 after Shang Tsung, The Joker, Terminator T-800, Sindel, and Nightwolf all released in the past few months.
Take a look at the gameplay trailer down below and prepare for Spawn’s arrival on 17 March for Kombat Pack owners and 24 March for everyone else.
