Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Gets Exciting New Trailer

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, the sequel to the award-winning 2018 animated movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, has received an awesome new trailer ahead of its release this June. The trailer features the soundtrack from the first movie, namely the song “What’s Up Danger?”, which was a pivotal turning point for Miles Morales becoming Spider-Man.

The story of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse seems to be focused on Miles growing up and balancing his personal life with his profession as New York’s only protector. That all seemingly changes when Miles is zapped back into the multiverse to meet various alternate versions of Peter Parker and several Spider-Man iterations from the comics, movies and games, including a surprise cameo from Insomniac’s Spider-Man in easily the funniest part of the trailer.

It’s worth noting that this second trailer might have some light spoilers so if you want to go in blind, we recommend not watching it for now. It also seems like Miles has to make some tough choices regarding saving the multiverse or saving the one person he cares about. How that translates to the main story is anyone’s guess but it’s only a couple of months away from release and we have plenty of new information to speculate on.

The official synopsis for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse reads:

“Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.”

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse swings into cinemas on 2 June 2023. Check out the brand new trailer below (and avoid if you don’t want too much spoiled for you):
