spider-man: far from home

Spider-Man: Far From Home Poster Angers Samuel L. Jackson and it is Hilarious

On 3 July, Spider-Man: Far From Home hits cinemas in South African and as the first MCU film after Avengers: Endgame, it sure has a lot to live up to. We are all very excited for the film starring Tom Holland and Samuel L. Jackson, and it seems the latter has flipped out a bit over a Spider-Man: Far From Home poster that got a very important detail wrong.

Warning: Some foul language below since it is, after all, Samuel L. Jackson we are talking about here.

In the Captain Marvel film, we saw how Nick Fury (portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson) lost his eye and everyone and their Flerken knowns that it is his left eye that was scratched by Goose. Well, according to a poster of the film, that isn’t the case and Samuel L. Jackson saw this and flipped out a little.

It’s a pretty funny incident and it could just be that a graphic designer flipped the photo in photoshop, but with two posters (one correct) being next to each other, it is quite an eyesore (sorry). Taking to Instagram, Mr Jackson posted the photo of the two Spider-Man: Far From Home posters.

That’s just so Samuel L. Jackson and it is a pretty funny incident if you ask me. It will be exciting to see how the relationship between Peter Parker and Nick Fury builds after the events of Avengers: Endgame. I just can’t help but wonder when (if ever), Mr Jackson will be able to utter his signature line in an MCU film, as he almost got to do it at the end of Infinity War.

In case you haven’t watched it yet, check out the Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer below and then tell us what you think about the error in the poster in the comment section.
