The announcement comes as no surprise. Sony’s history with the Spider-Man series dates back decades as the company released its own set of films and even published the Marvel’s Spider-Man video game in 2018. Spider-Man joins the likes of Ms Marvel, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America and Hawkeye in Marvel’s Avengers. The ambitious RPG is currently in development at Crystal Dynamics with a beta planned for this weekend on PS4 and other platforms next weekend.
