SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated Announced

We know that THQ Nordic has 48 unannounced games in development. Well, 47 now as the publisher has announced the first of three games they plan to reveal to the world in three days, for some pre-E3 excitement. The first game revealed today (5 June) at roughly 16:00 SA time is SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated.

Yes, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is the cult classic remade for the new generation and it is being developed by Purple Lamp Studios in collaboration with Nickelodeon and published by THQ Nordic. The game will release on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and the release date is currently unknown but we do know that the remake will have a brand new multiplayer mode.

THQ Nordic will reveal another game tomorrow at 19:00 SA Time. Then on Friday, 7 June also at 19:00 SA time they will announce the final of their three games ahead E3. We will keep you up to date with all the reveals, so stay tuned.
