Spotify has started rolling out a new Car View mode that lets you access your music easier and safer while behind the wheel. The feature automatically turns on when the app detects you are connected to a Bluetooth connection in a car.

The Spotify Car View then adjusts the app’s song info, buttons and other UI features to be bigger and easier to access. The biggest change is the album art which vanished while the mode is active. This gives the screen more space to include the necessary buttons that are needed to control your music.
You can disable the feature in settings if you prefer not to have it active but the whole idea is to make driving and changing songs, and accessing other information much easier and safer. You can also toggle the feature on in settings manually if your app does not detect the Bluetooth system and do it for you. This helps if you connect your phone through an AUX cable instead of Bluetooth.
Right now it seems that the feature is rolling out slowly and is available on Android first. If you don’t have it, make sure to update your app or hang on for it to be available for your device. iOS devices will most likely receive the feature in the coming weeks too.
