Spyro Reignited Trilogy Could be Coming to PC

Everyone’s favourite purple dragon could be headed to PC. If this pretty solid leak is to be believed about Spyro Reignited Trilogy, it will be a definite must-play for all PC gamers out there. When Marco reviewed the Spyro Reignited Trilogy back in November last year, he said that the game is “everything we loved about the Spyro series with a gorgeous coat of paint” and gave it a 9.8 out of 10.

The trilogy includes a total of three awesome games, namely Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. According to Taiwan’s Digital Game Rating Committee, as reported by Gematsu, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be released on PC and the rating reportedly even has a developer for the PC port included, namely Iron Galaxy.

Iron Galaxy is responsible for ports of some big games to the Nintendo Switch, including Diablo III and Skyrim, as well as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Further, the developer helped fix the PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight, which really did poorly on PC when it first released but after the developer stepped in, the game got a whole lot better. That gives me a lot of confidence in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy PC port if it does happen, especially with the box art also being leaked.

Hopefully, we will hear more about the PC port soon, possibly even at E3 2019 which is less than two weeks away. For now, one should take the information in this leak with a grain of salt until such time as Activision officially announces that the game will be coming to PC. However, this seems like a pretty solid leak to me and there is really no reason Spyro couldn’t grace PC gamers with his presence.
