We may get our hands on a brand-new Star Wars Jedi game in the near future. According to a report by Jeff Grubb, EA is prepping to fully announce the game before this year’s E3 2022 showcase. This means we may get to see the game in the flesh around May this year. In the article (which has now been removed), Grubb claims that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is quite far into development already. So much so that when EA does announce the game later this year, we will see a significant reveal instead of a teaser.
While you should take this with a pinch of salt, for now, this does kind of make sense. We know that EA is working on a new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 game. Respawn Entertainment kicked off the development of the sequel soon after the original game was released back in 2019. While I doubt the game will release this year, it will be nice to see where EA and Respawn Entertainment are taking the series in the sequel.

via Grubb: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 likely to be revealed before this year’s E3 (possibly around May)

EA usually hosts its own EA Play event around the time of E3. However, by the sound of things, the company might start teasing the reveal of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 before this event takes place. If this report is true, then we could see a teaser in May followed by a full reveal in June 2022. But of course take this as it comes for now. Jeff Grubb has since removed his article, in which is cites himself talking about the game’s announcement. Sounds a bit fishy.
