Star Wars Jedi Survivor Release Date Leaked Steam 15 March

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Coming to Last-Gen Consoles in September

Something that we didn’t think would ever happen is happening. Respawn has successfully ported the graphically-demanding Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to PS4 and Xbox One. The game is available to pre-order now but maybe you should wait a bit before throwing money at it.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an intense game when it comes to performance. The title still suffers from performance issues on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. So we don’t know how it will hold up on last-gen consoles.

EA Games plans to launch the game on 17 September at a $49.99 price tag. It is available to pre-order in South Africa for R949 across both platforms. There’s no physical launch planned at this time and there’s no Deluxe Edition either.

Of course, we don’t know if the game will have performance issues on PS4 and Xbox One. Respawn wouldn’t launch it on those platforms if it ran poorly, right? However, the game has had a rough time on new consoles and especially on PC.

We also don’t know at what resolution Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will run on these consoles yet either. It will likely be 720p at best.

Still, it is great for those who played Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on PS4 and Xbox back in the day and couldn’t experience the sequel. At the moment, there’s no trailer or gameplay footage to watch. We might get closer to the launch.

One thing is for sure, I am quite interested to see how well the game runs and what sacrifices the team had to make to port the game over.
