Star Wars Jedi Survivor Delayed Respawn Entertainment

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Has Been Rated For PS4 and Xbox One

The previously announced PS4 and Xbox One versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have been rated ahead of an official reveal by EA Games and Respawn Entertainment. The game launched last year for current-gen consoles and PC, though Respawn revealed that it was also working on last-gen versions of the game too.

As revealed by Twitter/X user The_Marmolade, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was recently rated in Brazil for PS4 and Xbox One, meaning an announcement might be coming sooner rather than later. The rating simply lists the platforms but doesn’t offer any other information, though it’s speculated that the last-gen ports will be accompanied by some new content or a big update. Respawn has yet to make a statement regarding the last-gen versions.

The official description for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor reads:

“The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?”

In related news, last September Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan accidentally revealed that work has begun on Star Wars Jedi 3. It’s not uncommon for movie and television actors to reveal their next projects but in the gaming industry, secrecy is important.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is currently available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Look forward to the PS4 and Xbox One versions coming soon.
