Star Wars Outlaws has wrapped up development ahead of the game’s launch next month. Ubisoft has gone all in with the latest Star Wars game as the studio has created a new original story set across vast planets. The studio has described Star Wars Outlaws as the “first-ever open-world Star Wars game”.
The studio confirmed the gold status on X where a short trailer was shared alongside the release date reminder. This means we are just eight weeks away from playing Star Wars Outlaws.

Star Wars Outlaws follows the story of Kay Vess as she gets wrapped up in a crime syndicate war. Kay is accompanied by her adorable companion pet named Nix who helps her throughout the adventure.
In my recent preview of Star Wars Outlaws, I praised the game’s seamless exploration and Uncharted-like combat style. There’s also a good mix of stealth and tactical gameplay as players will need to decide whether or not to go in loud or take the silent route. You can read my full preview of Star Wars Outlaws here.
Ubisoft has also launched a range of Star Wars Outlaws pre-orders for players. We recently put together a full guide on all the pre-order incentives and early access information here.
Star Wars Outlaws is set to launch on 30 August for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
