Starfield PC System Requirements Detailed

Bethesda has detailed the Starfrield PC system requirements needed to run its upcoming ambitious space game. We already know that Starfield will run at 30fps on the Xbox Series X/S and the PC system requirements reveal why. It is quite a demanding game. You’ll need an SSD as well as at least an RTX 2080 to run Starfield on the recommended settings. Bethesda says Starfield will also require over 125GB of storage space.

Of course, these PC system requirements give us some idea as to why Starfield runs at 30FPS on the Xbox Series X/S. The console is equivalent to an RTX 2060 so already the specs for the game demand around the same for running the game on Minimum.

At the moment, the Starfield PC system requirements as for at least an NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti to run the game in potato quality. If you want to push the game to the limit, owning a high-end 40-Series card is, of course, the best option here. Keep in mind that we don’t know yet what sort of DLSS techniques Starfield will use. We will hear more about that closer to the launch in September.
