I hope you can fit a power nap into your day today because tonight there’s a State of Play taking place at another ungodly time. Sony has announced that the September State of Play will kick off at midnight South African time on 14 September. So technically the stream is tomorrow for us South Africans.
Those of you not in our region can tune into the stream starting at 3:00 pm Pacific Time / 6:00 pm Eastern Time / 11:00 pm BST.
Sony didn’t share exactly what the September State of Play will include. However, the company says it will last 20 minutes and play host to new game announcements and updates for 10 games coming to PS4, PS5 and PlayStation VR2.

Of course, it is hard to ignore the elephant in the room at the moment. The past few weeks have been filled with so many rumours regarding many game reveals reportedly set to take place this month. This includes new Silent Hill games, a Metal Gear Solid Remaster or Remake and more.
I suspect that everything we have heard up to this point will be announced at this State of Play making it one not to miss. It also helps that the Tokyo Game Show kicks off next week meaning these announcements will likely be part of the show too.
You can tune into the PlayStation September State of Play this evening. The stream starts at 00:00 SAT over on YouTube and Twitch.
