Stellar Blade Nier Automata DLC Update Photo Mode

Stellar Blade Nier DLC and Photo Mode Update Gets Release Date

After weeks of waiting, developer Shift Up has revealed when PS5 players will be able to get their hands on the Nier: Automata DLC for Stellar Blade as well as the long-overdue Photo Mode. The update will finally roll out on Wednesday, 20 November which will give players access to a number of free and paid costumes alongside the collaboration as well as tweaks and new Eve customisation options.

Shift Up has announced that the big Nier: Automata update for Stellar Blade will launch next week Wednesday, 20 November. Players wishing to get their hands on the new Nier DLC items such as costumes can find it in-game after Automata‘s Emil sets up shop. Shift Up says players will need to progress into the game to get access to Emil’s store, though the studio didn’t mention where or when the shop will appear.

Here’s a quick breakdown of everything coming in the next big update for Stellar Blade:

  • Nier: Automata’s Emil will set up shop in Stellar Blade with 11 special collaboration items.
  • Photo mode.
  • Four new costumes.
  • ‘Symbol of Legacy’ accessory that changes the look of the Tachy mode.
  • Lip sync support for French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.
  • The ability to pick specific songs at the camp turntable.
  • Eve character customization options will now feature ‘No ponytail.’
  • In battle, auto-targeting and “ballistics correction features” have been added to enemy insta-kill skills.

Shift Up didn’t mention if the DLC will be free or paid, though the studio did confirm in the past that all IP collaborations will be paid. However, the four new costumes coming with the update will likely be free but players will probably have to purchase the Nier: Automata content with real-world money.
