Developer Shift Up has released a summer update for its PS5 action game, Stellar Blade, adding two new swimsuits into the game along with a new location, new background music and a tanning bed for protagonist Eve to interact with. The update also delivers some minor bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
The summer update for Stellar Blade is currently live on PS5 which adds a bit of new content. A small vacation area has been added to the Great Desert Oasis for Eve to relax at, complete with a new tanning bed and summer-themed background music suited for the chilled environment (however, players can also choose to switch back to the original music you’d typically hear at the base camp).
The biggest addition in the summer update is two new swimsuit outfits for Eve to equip, which can be obtained from Clyde’s shop in the oasis. Unfortunately, Shift Up also revealed that it’s still working on the long-awaited Photo Mode as it’s not available in this update. Shift Up previously released a similar update last month which also added a couple of new outfits along with a handful of bug fixes and improvements. The studio stated that it’s also exploring a potential PC port and sequel to the game – both haven’t been officially announced but it’s good to know that development is moving forward.
Stellar Blade is available exclusively for PS5.
