Stranger Things Season 5 Linda Hamilton Terminator

Stranger Things Season 5 Casts Terminator’s Linda Hamilton

The highly anticipated fifth season of Stranger Things is still without a release date and we might be waiting a while until we see the epic conclusion to the popular Netflix series. However, some new casting calls have been made and it looks like Linda Hamilton, best known for playing Sarah Connor in the Terminator franchise, will be joining the cast of season 5.

Stranger Things showrunners The Duffer Brothers previously confirmed that season 5 will be the final season and it should go out with a bang. It’s unclear when we can expect the last season to arrive to see the fates of Eleven and the crew but most fans are still in tears over the ending of season 4 (for spoiler reasons). The conclusive showdown with Vecna is sure to be a fiery one since Linda Hamilton is now being added to the cast.

Hamilton is best known for her portrayal of John Connor’s mother, Sarah Connor, from the Terminator movies, though she has also appeared in other projects such as Dante’s Peak and Children of the Corn. The actress cemented herself as one of Hollywood’s most popular female action heroes from the 80s/90s and she’ll hopefully be bringing that energy to the Upside Down next.

It’s possible that Hamilton could also be playing a villain, specifically one of the shady government officials tasked with exterminating Eleven. Since no plot details are known about season 5 at this point, it’s all just speculation for now.

Stranger Things season 5 will see the return of Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven alongside Finn Wolfhard as Mike, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington and Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, among many others.
