Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League How to Defeat Each Superhero

Suicide Squad Game’s Current Season is Its Last – Offline Mode Coming Soon

Rocksteady has confirmed that the current season of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be its last. Thereafter, an offline mode will be introduced to the game that will allow players to continue playing without having to constantly be online.

The final season for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will arrive in January 2025. Starting today as part of Season 4 Episode 7, players will be able to unlock Deathstroke as a new playable character in the game. Episode 8 will release early next year, marking the end of ongoing seasonal content and updates for the game. “Season 4 will finish up with Episode 8, which is scheduled to release in January 2025, and that will serve as the last seasonal Episode for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” said Rocksteady.

The developer laid out its plans for what players can expect from the game over the course of the next few months:

“While Season 4 Episode 8 will mark the final battle against Brainiac, all online features will continue to be available, so you’ll still be able to enjoy co-op with friends, as well as all previous seasonal/episodic content. You’ll also have the option to play the game via the new Offline mode, which allows access to the main story campaign and all post-launch seasonal gameplay content without an internet connection.”

Players will need to create a new offline mode profile, which can be done by copying your existing online mode profile or simply start from scratch. Progression made between the offline and online modes won’t carry over to each other.

Back in June, a Bloomberg report revealed that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was only getting “barebones support” at Rocksteady as the studio was in the process of pitching a new single-player game. It seems like ongoing development on Suicide Squad will wind down after the next season. It’s also good that an offline mode will be available as the game no longer runs the risk of being pulled by Warner Bros. Games and made redundant like many online-only games that failed over the years.
