DC Fandome took place over the weekend and if you missed it, you probably skipped out on the new gameplay screenshots and trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League game. The trailer has been a long time coming and fans finally got a glimpse at the game’s characters in action. The trailer also confirmed that the upcoming Rocksteady game won’t be launching on PS4 and Xbox One when it arrives in 2022.
We don’t know what the release date is yet for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League but we know it is arriving sometime next year. The game follows a handful of the Suicide Squad characters including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark as they set off to take down the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, the Justice League.
Why are they hunting down the Justice League you may ask yourself? We don’t know yet. Rocksteady hasn’t revealed much in terms of the story but hopefully, we’ll get an update on the game in early 2022. However, by the looks of the trailer, it seems the Suicide Squad head off to take down The Justice League who have succumbed to a strange corruption. They all seem possessed.
The screenshots of the game were also released alongside the trailer and they reveal Task Force X and Amanda Waller. Waller is being played by Debra Wilson who previously played Jedi Cere Junda in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Check out the screenshots down below. Keep in mind that these are in-game screenshots.
As for the trailer, it is a star-studded one indeed. The trailer plays host to a range of popular DC characters including Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman and there’s even a Batmobile… Even Penguin makes his debut. It is quite exciting.
