Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League State of Play Gameplay

Suicide Squad Will Get Four Major Seasons of Content – Details Leak

Even though Rocksteady doesn’t look at Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League as a live service title, the upcoming action game will get four major seasons of content shortly after its launch next month. Each season will bring new weapons, characters and locations to the game. Of course, each season will also bring its own new battle pass themed around the content (sounds pretty live service to me).

While Rocksteady has yet to detail any of this post-launch content, a new leak has revealed exactly what players can expect from each new season. According to the report, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will get four seasons within its first year of launch.

The first season will add a new avant-garde district to the main game’s map themed around a “clown character”. Of course, this is likely Joker-themed content so expect themed missions and cosmetics. Season 2 will then add a frozen tundra district to the game themed around an “ice character”. This is no doubt Mr Freeze.

Season 3 is where things get interesting. According to the leak, this content will see players return back to Gotham City. The leak suggests that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. will use the Gotham City content as a sales push around Black Friday this year. The content is expected to arrive just around the time of Halloween through to Black Friday. It also means that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will likely get a major discount around that time too pushing sales for the game and the season content.

The final season of year one will then be focused around Deathstroke. If you can recall, the post-credits scene from Batman: Arkham Origins featured a teaser with Deathstroke which, to this day, hasn’t been picked up in any of the games. Maybe this will finally continue that teaser? Apart from Deathstroke being the focus on season 4, we don’t know what else the content will include.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is expected to launch on 2 February for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
