Summer Game Fest is set to kick off tonight with an opening show from host Geoff Keighley. The annual event has since replaced the calendar date for E3, promising an exciting showcase filled with announcements, world premieres and updates for anticipated upcoming games. Here’s when and where you can watch tonight’s livestream of Summer Game Fest 2025 as well as what to expect.
As for when you can watch Summer Game Fest 2025, the event will take place tonight at 11PM SAST / 2PM PT. Geoff Keighley provided an extended list of time zones right here. It will be livestreamed on YouTube and Twitch but we’ve embedded the livestream (which is currently counting down) below for your convenience.
This year’s Summer Game Fest is stacked with gaming developers and publishers from across the industry including Capcom, CD Projekt Red, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Square Enix, Sega and Bandai Namco, among many others. It’s great to see Nintendo return to the not-E3 schedule this year as the company typically hosted its own dedicated showcases around the same time. You can see the full list of partners below:
We’ll likely get updates on upcoming releases from these partners. Some standouts include Nintendo, which may have some exciting news considering that the Switch 2 just launched; Capcom, with many hoping to get a look at new Monster Hunter Wilds updates and a possible Resident Evil 9 reveal; Supermassive Games will likely showcase Little Nightmares 3 or one of its upcoming cinematic horror titles; and CD Projekt Red, which just announced a new content update for Cyberpunk 2077.
Summer Game Fest isn’t the only major gaming event happening this week. Microsoft will host its annual Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, 8 June that will conclude with a deep dive into The Outer Worlds 2. You can view a full list of all the ongoing gaming events here.
