Summer Game Fest is a week away and the hype train is steadily rolling forward. Host Geoff Keighley recently confirmed the list of over 30 partners that will appear at the not-E3 show, possibly with new game announcements. These include big names such as PlayStation, Xbox, Capcom, EA, Activision, Devolver Digital and more.
Keighley tweeted yesterday the list of confirmed partners for Summer Game Fest scheduled to take place on 9 June. Since E3 has bowed out of 2022, this event will probably act as its replacement this year. Additionally, PlayStation also confirmed that its State of Play show which will take place tomorrow will actually be a part of Summer Game Fest in some way.

The full list of partners appearing at Summer Game Fest are as follows:
Though the list states that more partners will be announced, there are some notable exclusions, particularly Ubisoft who has yet to announce its own dedicated event for the summer.
Judging by the list, we can speculate a few titles that might appear at Summer Game Fest. The Medium developer Bloober Team is currently partnered with Konami on a secret unannounced horror project, which has been rumoured to be a remake of Silent Hill 2.
Warner Bros. Games will likely have something to show for either Hogwarts Legacy or Gotham Knights, while SEGA might deliver a more in-depth gameplay trailer for the upcoming Sonic Frontiers. EA recently confirmed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor with a short reveal trailer, so it’s likely that we’ll get a proper gameplay video for it too.
We probably shouldn’t expect an announcement for Persona 6 yet, but Atlus’ involvement in the show does leave us excited for something big. Since PlayStation and Xbox both have dedicated showcases taking place in June, it’s unknown what each might reveal at Summer Game Fest. Finally, Square Enix’s name sparks interest for an update on either Final Fantasy XVI or Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, though we’d take that with a pinch of salt.
Summer Game Fest airs on 9 June 2022 at 2PM EST / 11AM PST / 8PM SAST. Make sure you catch up on all the major gaming events happening in June (and when to watch them) in our handy guide.
