Nintendo Switch 2 Reveal September

Switch 2 Set For January Reveal and March Release According to Latest Report

A new report claims that Nintendo will indeed skip its 2024 reveal for the upcoming Switch successor. Up to now, sources claimed that Nintendo would reveal the new console before the end of the year. We have heard from multiple so-called “sources” that Nintendo would kick out the year with a full showcase of its new hardware. However, while many have hoped that would be the case, November has come to an end, and we still haven’t seen anything.

The latest report now says that Nintendo will only announce the new console sometime in January. According to Nintendo Prime, their Chinese sources say Nintendo is gearing up for a reveal in January 2025 ahead of the March 2025 release. The March release isn’t new. We have already heard from multiple sources, including part makers and accessory brands that the Switch 2 would release by then.

To add to this, another source now says that Nintendo’s shipment for the Switch 2 is gargantuan. A logistics insider close to the Switch successor project claims that Nintendo has far surpassed the demand for the new console. They say that stock won’t be a problem when it does make it to market given how many units have been produced.

This adds to what we have already heard about the project. Earlier this year, reports claimed that Nintendo would release the new Switch console sometime before the end of 2024. However, the launch was delayed. According to reports, this delay was done to prepare this shipment and in addition, to get the launch lineup ready. So Nintendo pushed out the Switch 2 to March 2025 giving an entire year to manufacture more stock and develop launch games.

Keep in mind that this is all still rumours and reports so take it all with a pinch of salt for now. It would be great to see the Switch 2 before the end of the year but at this rate, that might not happen.
