If you never got around to playing Tactics Ogre Reborn, the game is a timeless classic. It was originally released back in 1995 as Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. The original game launched on Super Famicon before being ported to Sega Saturn in 1996 and PlayStation in 1997. Tactics Ogre Reborn was then remade for the PSP in 2010. That version of the game is the same one which is launching now in November. It featured a diverse cast of characters and a deep class system where players could assign roles to different characters to switch up combat encounters.
It goes without saying that Tactics Ogre Reborn is a strategy game where players move characters across a square grid battlefield, issue commands and carefully plot out their attacks.
Based on the 2010 release, the game features improved graphics and sound, as well as updated game design, bringing to life a new Tactics Ogre that remains true to its roots. Tactics Ogre veterans will experience a game that surpasses their fondest memories, while players new to Tactics Ogre will discover a game unlike any they’ve ever played. Reborn and deeper than ever, the game enables players to immerse themselves in the world and intrigue of Tactics Ogre like never before.
Square Enix claims that pre-orders are now open for the game ahead of the launch in November. Check out the official trailer down below and find out more on the official site here.
