Want to get a taste of the upcoming Resident Evil 3? Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil 3 demo will be arriving this week for PS4, Xbox One and PC as players will be able to experience a small taste of the horror game on 19 March 2020. But there is more. Capcom also revealed that the upcoming PvPvE game that will release alongside Resident Evil 3, “Resident Evil Resistance” will also get an open beta from 27 March 2020.\nRELATED: Xbox Series X Specs, Internal Design, Storage Expansion Card Revealed\nAccording to the PlayStation Blog, the Resident Evil 3 demo will take place in Raccoon City where returning players will be able to pick up on the story which takes place both before and after the events of Resident Evil 2. The Raccoon City demo will put players right in the thick of things as they play through the new game.\nCapcom shared some tips for players on the blog where they highlight some of the game’s new mechanics and how players can take advantage of them. This includes timing the perfect dodge to avoid damage and death, as well as keeping your eyes and ears open for enemies and leaving supplies alone for later.\nCapcom revealed that they have hidden 20 “Mr Charlie” figures scattered somewhere in the demo in hard-to-find locations. The developer urges players to try and hunt them down just like they did Mr Raccoon in the previous game.\n\nAs for the upcoming Resident Evil Resistance which is included in the game, Capcom is excited to share the experience with players in an open beta taking place from 27 March.\nAn open beta for Resident Evil Resistance will also be starting on 27th March, giving you a chance to make your escape from a twisted experiment as part of a team of four Survivors, or to take a seat in the Mastermind’s chair and attempt to crush the Survivors instead. Resident Evil Resistance will be included with Resident Evil 3, and the open beta runs right up until launch, so it’s the perfect time to start learning the ropes of this unique asymmetrical online game!\nResident Evil 3 releases on 3 April 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
