Tales of Arise Gets New Character Trailers and is 20GB Smaller Thanks to PS5’s Compression

Tales of Arise is just days away from launch if you’re looking forward to this JRPG then get ready for new trailers. Bandai Namco released a handful of new videos showcasing the characters in the upcoming game. The videos focus on the “couples” in Tales of Arise as the game features two blooming relationships between four characters in your party. Keep in mind that the developers have not confirmed whether or not the game will feature any sort of relationship development mechanics. However, it is still nice to know that the large roster of characters will somehow be connected in some other way.

In other news, those of you who have pre-ordered Tales of Arise can now pre-load the game across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. There is also good news for those on PS5. According to the download size for Tales of Arise, the PS5 compression has managed to shrink the game down by a whopping 20GB.

This is great news for PS5 owners who are fighting for storage space on the console. On the PS4, Tales of Arise comes in at 57GB and on the PS5, the game is only 37GB in total.
