Nintendo has yet to officially announce the Switch 2 despite numerous leaks that have occurred over the last few months. We now also have leaks of the potential third-party titles that might be making their way to the new console. A new report claims that Tekken 8, Red Dead Redemption 2 and an unknown FIFA game (possibly EA Sports FC 25) could be ported to Switch 2.
X user Bouboune0 claimed to have uncovered three games from leaked retail listings of the Nintendo Switch 2 by comparing SKUs, discovering Tekken 8, Red Dead Redemption 2 and a FIFA game. Tekken 8 and Red Dead Redemption 2 would be huge as they’d be great examples of third-party games with high-fidelity visuals running on Switch 2’s hardware, acting as showcases for the improved tech in the next-gen console.
The issue most players had with the first Nintendo Switch was its third-party lineup – not for a lack of titles but rather the compromises developers had to make in order to get ambitious modern titles working on the system. Some good examples of this would be Hogwarts Legacy and Mortal Kombat 1, which were both lambasted at launch for having poor, underwhelming visuals and graphical hiccups.
After researches with the EAN found in the leak, here’s a list of games that will arrive on Nintendo switch 2 :
– Tekken 8 🥳
– FIFA
– Red Dead Redemption (2) ???I’m sure at 90%. Cause i found similar EAN filed by the editors of those games. #NintendoSwitch https://t.co/jl6h0QPHUq pic.twitter.com/xPP5nRHrIz

To be fair, there have been better examples of third-party titles running surprisingly well on the original Switch such as DOOM and The Witcher 3, though they were hardly the reasons most people bought the Switch in the first place as exclusives like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Odyssey were the true system-sellers.
