Test Out the Pokemon-Inspired MMO “Temtem” on Steam Before it Launches

If you have not been following the news about Temtem, the game is a Pokemon-inspired MMO which many are calling “the Pokemon MMO we have been waiting for”. The indie game was funded on Kickstarter back in 2018 and is about to launch on Steam Early Access on 21 January 2020.

The game has been made by Crema and follows much in the footsteps of a traditional Pokemon game including catching and raising monsters, evolving them and becoming a Pokemon Temtem Master. Players will be able to choose from one of three creatures at the start of the game and venture off into a giant open world with other players and explore and catch new monsters.

If you are interested in testing out Temtem before its Steam Early Access launch later this month, you can. Crema announced three stress tests taking place and the first test is this weekend. The first one will go live on 11 January at 20:00 South African time and run all the way to 23:00. The next test will be the following weekend, and the last one will run the final weekend before the game launches;

  • Jan 11th @ 20:00-00:00 SAT
  • Jan 17th @ 21:00-23:00 SAT
  • Jan 19th @ 19:00-21:00 SAT

In order to sign up for the test, you will need to head over to the Temtem site and fill in your details. They will then send you a Steam key which you can redeem in order to access the game. It may be a bit late to get into this weekend’s test but you can always sign up for the next one.  Head over to the Temtem Steam Early Access page for more information.
