“The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson has been delayed again. The film has suffered multiple production delays and won’t make its 1 October 2021 release date. Instead, the film will now open in cinemas on 4 March 2022. In addition, Warner Bros has delayed multiple other movies while moving Matrix 4 up.

The upcoming anticipated release of Matrix 4 is now set to release on 22 December 2021 instead of its original 1 April 2022 date. Dune will now open on ‘The Batman” release date of 2 October 2021 instead. Other movie release date changes include The Flash starring Ezra Miller which has been delayed from 3 June 2022 to 4 November 2022. Shazam! Fury of the Gods is being pushed up from 4 November 2022 to 2 June 2023. Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam has been delayed indefinitely. The film was originally set to release on 22 December 2022.
Warner Bros has also been forced to delay its upcoming video game movie Minecraft from 4 March 2022. The film is also delayed indefinitely. All these delays come from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Warner Bros shifted its Wonder Woman 1984 release date from 2 October 2020 to 25 December which forced them to delay Dune. This was to give cinemas more time to prepare for their reopening. “The Batman” movie suffered multiple delays too. One is due to the worldwide lockdown and the other after Robert Pattinson tested positive for COVID-19.
