Netflix has a lot in store for subscribers for the remainder of 2023. The company announced its full movie schedule and that alone is packed with exciting blockbusters to look forward to. While everyone is waiting to watch Rebel Moon in December, you can rest assured knowing there are other great movies to look forward to as we lead up to the holiday season.

El Conde – 15 September
Pablo Larraín’s new film is a satire that portrays a universe in which Augusto Pinochet, a 250-year-old vampire who, tired of being remembered as a thief, decides to die.
Spy Kids: Armageddon – 22 September
A new family of spies arrives on Netflix on 22 September. Robert Rodriguez reboots the beloved Spy Kids franchise, inspiring a new generation of young heroes and taking the spy game to the next level. When the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.
The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar – 27 September
A rich man learns about a guru who can see without using his eyes and then sets out to master the skill in order to cheat at gambling.
The Devil on Trial – 17 October
The Devil on Trial explores the first – and only – time “demonic possession” has officially been used as a defence in a U.S. murder trial. Including firsthand accounts of alleged devil possession and shocking murder, this extraordinary story forces reflection on our fear of the unknown.
Sister Death – TBC
Sister Death is an upcoming Spanish Netflix Original horror movie directed and produced by Paca Plaza, and the prequel to Plaza’s 2017 horror Verónica. The feature is produced by El Estudio, which was created by producers Enrique López Lavigne (Verónica, The Grandmother), Pablo Cruz (Fear the Walking Dead), and Diego Suarez Chialvo (Slaughterhouse Rulez).
The Killer – 10 November

Actor and comedian Adam Sandler (Hotel Transylvania, The Wedding Singer) delivers signature laughs in this coming-of-age animated musical comedy about the last year of elementary school – as seen through the eyes of a class pet. Leave the World Behind – 8 December
Based on the book of the same name by Rumaan Alam, the psychological thriller Leave the World Behind tells the story of two families, led by Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali, as they fight for survival amid an inexplicable blackout. Alam also serves as executive producer of the film, alongside Barack and Michelle Obama, Tonia Davis, Daniel M. Stillman and Nick Krishnamurthy.
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget – 15 December
Two decades after organizing a feathery union and flying the coop, the heroes of Chicken Run are making a triumphant comeback. The stop-motion classic’s long-awaited sequel, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, will hit Netflix on December 15, 2023. In a brief clip announcing the release date, we catch a glimpse of Ginger (Thandiwe Newton) and Rocky (Zachary Levi) as they welcome a new little adventurer into their lives.
Rebel Moon – 22 December
From Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind 300, Man of Steel, and Army of the Dead, comes REBEL MOON, an epic science-fantasy event decades in the making.
