The Crew 3 is Reportedly Called Motorfest and Set in Hawaii

Some details about The Crew 3 have leaked from multiple sources. According to the leaks, The Crew 3 will be titled The Crew Motorfest and feature Hawaii as a setting, specifically the island of Oahu. It will also reportedly use a new engine.

The leaks are a combination of reports from Insider Gaming and renowned Ubisoft leaker ScriptLeaksR6 who both claim that The Crew Motorfest will be the name of the upcoming game and that it will use a new engine instead of The Crew 2‘s Dunia Engine, which Ubisoft had previously used on multiple other games as well. Behind development, the game is currently going under the codename of Project Orlando.

The Crew Motorfest is rumoured to have originally started development as an ambitious DLC for The Crew 2, but quickly evolved into its own game. A lot of the DLC’s development has potentially been expanded to suit a larger, standalone title.

Insider Gaming claims to have images of The Crew Motorfest‘s logo which will appear on in-game billboards, registration plates and the loading menu but are unable to release them due to a request from their source. It’s possible that the next game will officially be announced sometime this year given these leaks, though we still recommend taking all of this with a grain of salt for now.

The Crew Motorfest isn’t the only massive Ubisoft project to have leaked recently. Last week, Far Cry 7 was also leaked along with a new standalone Far Cry multiplayer game, which will reportedly take the series to the Alaskan wilderness. Impressions from the closed beta of Skull and Bones called the game a grindy version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and found it tedious with slow progression.

That’s not to mention the massive leak that occurred this month which revealed all 11 games that the company plans to release this year. It’s worth noting that Project Orlando (which we now believe to be The Crew Motorfest) is also part of that list.
