Ubisoft is hosting a second free trial period for its latest open-world racer, The Crew Motorofest. The game launched on 14 September and I enjoyed it. In my review, I discuss its brilliant world which is held back by its time-gated live-service elements. If you want to see what the fuss is about, you can give The Crew Motorfest another go for free during a current free trial period.
The latest trial is pretty much the same as the original launch trial. At launch, players were able to jump into The Crew Motorfest for a full five hours and carry their progress over to the main game. The same trial has now returned. Between 10 – 20 October, you’ll be able to play another five hours of the game and rack up even more progression.

Ubisoft has also discounted The Crew Motorfest to try and get players to purchase the game after their trial ends. Across all platforms, the game is currently around 15-20% off. You can pick up the standard edition for 15% off and the Gold and Ultimate Editions for 20% off.
This equals R959 for the Standard Edition, R1529 for the Gold Edition and R1826 for the Ultimate Edition on PlayStation and Xbox. The Ultimate Edition includes the Year 1 Pass with 25 additional vehicles and some other incentives.
It is a bit concerning to see The Crew Motorofest discounted less than a month after its launch. Ubisoft claims The Crew 2 amassed 30 million players at its prime so let’s hope The Crew Motorfest manages to keep up with that record. It really is a fun racer so don’t miss this opportunity to test it out.
