The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Announced

The next chapter in The Dark Pictures Anthology has been announced by Bandai Namco Games. The original “The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan” launched back in 2019 and it was “okay” to say the least. We reviewed this horror-flick-turned-video-game and thought it could have used a little more polish. You can read my full review of the game here. That aside, the second game The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope has been announced and it will take players to an abandoned town of Little Hope as players get trapped and isolated.

According to Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games, the upcoming release will follow the story of 4 college students and their professor as they must escape the nightmarish visions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog.  As they journey through the town looking for a means of escape, they must understand the meaning of these events, the root of the evil, and how it is directly connected to them!

If you played Man of Medan, you would know that the game ended with a teaser to this upcoming chapter and even showed some of the cast for the game including Will Poulter (We’re the Millers” and Pip Torrens (Preacher).

The direction for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope seems to be going down a much more supernatural path which is great for the series. Kind of a Blair Witch theme going on in the trailer

You can watch the announcement teaser down below. The actual Little Hope footage is right at the end after the annoying streamers make a noise. The game is set for a release on PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2020.
