The Division Heartland Leaks On Ubisoft Store as “Coming Soon”

Ubisoft is set to host its Forward event this week where the company will officially unveil the new Assassin’s Creed Mirage game and hopefully, showcase a bit of its live-service Assassin’s Creed game, Infinity. However, the Ubisoft Forward event will also play host to new game announcements and updates and by the look of things, The Division Heartland is one of them.

It has been a while since we have seen The Division Heartland. The game was announced last year and all but vanished soon after its announcement. There were a few gameplay leaks here and there but Ubisoft hasn’t shared any new information on its new free-to-play co-op shooter.

Over the weekend, that changed. It seems Ubisoft went and uploaded a whole new game page for The Division Heartland on the store which details some of the features and lists the game as “coming soon”.

This is no mere coincidence. With the Ubisoft Forward event set for 10 September, this new store listing is definitely meant to tie into the game’s re-reveal.

According to the Ubisoft store, The Division Heartland is described as a free-to-play shooter. The game page details the game’s “massive PvEvP in storm operations” and more saying:

Fight together in 45-player PvEvP Storm Operations against a group of dangerous Rogue agents and aggressive factions known as the Vultures. All while surviving a lethal virus.

Compete in PvE missions, gather gear, activate alerts and prep the battlefield in Excursion Operations.

Play as one of six agents and select between three classes for each match, all with their own perks and skills.

We don’t know when The Division Heartland will launch. However, given that the game has since popped up on the Ubisoft Store, the company might announce a release date for the free-to-play game quite close to the end of the year. Previous alpha tests showed that the game was running quite well so it is just a matter of time before we get to play this ourselves.
