The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Getting Released Again

Just when you thought The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was done and dusted Bethesda has announced yet another re-release of the game. This time, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition celebrates the 10th anniversary of the classic RPG and is set to release on 11 November 2021.

According to Bethesda, the game is now the “complete package” and includes the full main experience plus three expansions – Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. It also packs the visual improvements that shipped with the other re-release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. However, the biggest change in this game version comes from the over 500 unique pieces of Creation Club content. Oh, and you can fish now too.

Players can enjoy all these mods that come in the form of different quests, dungeons, bosses, spells, combat enhancements and more. This is great for players who haven’t been able to experience The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC where these mods are readily available and easy to install.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition

Bethesda has not shared the exact list of Creation Club content headed to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition yet. The company plans on releasing the game for Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well as offer free upgrades to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of the game. Keep in mind that if you currently own The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on these platforms, it does not entitle you to a free upgrade to the Anniversary Edition. You need to purchase the game again.

At the time of writing, Bethesda has also yet to confirm the game’s release on Xbox Game Pass. However, the title will most likely release on the service on 11 November 2021.
