Epic is really upping their game with their freebies. Two week ago, we got the co-op cooking adventure, Overcooked! for free and right now, you can grab the great ARPG Torchlight for free. Next week, PC gamers are in for another free game and this time, it is the fantastic platformer Limbo.

The next free game from Epic is truly a must-play. Limbo, developed by Playdead, released all the way back in 2010 but it is still one of the best platformers out there and something I even recommend to play to cleanse your palate if you suffer from open-world fatigue. Not to mention that the game received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics when it released.
For those who haven’t played Limbo yet, you can mark those calendars for 18 July and bookmark this link where you will be able to pick up the game for free. Grab it before 25 July to keep it forever and play at your leisure.
Limbo follows the story of a young boy trapped in purgatory. It is a brutal puzzle-platforming experience and if you are just tired of all the colours, then fear not. Limbo has a minimalistic colour scheme with mostly black, white and shades of grey, but there is quite a lot of detail. This game offers a dark journey and I recently played it again. Limbo should take you roughly 4-5 hours depending on how quickly you solve its puzzles.
