Earlier this year, The First Berserker: Khazan, a new action RPG set in the Dungeons & Fighter (DNF) universe, received some brutal new gameplay. During Gamescom Opening Night Live last night, the game debuted another gameplay trailer, this time showing a much more polished experience without the noticeable frame rate issues from the last trailer. Developer Neople also confirmed that the game will get a technical closed beta test this October on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The Gamescom trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan is fast, stylish and just as brutal as you expect, inspired by Soulslike action RPG titles like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Nioh. However, the outstanding art direction elevates it above other typical action RPGs in the genre with brutally fast combat as its focus.
The good news is that PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players can get a chance to test out The First Berserker: Khazan this October thanks to a technical closed beta test. It will run from 11-20 October. Those wishing to participate in the closed beta test can sign up right here.

The official description of The First Berserker: Khazan reads:
“Khazan and Ozma, the heroes who saved the Pell Los Empire from Hismar the Berserk Dragon and the Dragon Legion. However, General Khazan, falsely accused of treason, becomes a wretched outcast as he is condemned to exile beyond the empire through brutal torture. The player will become the hero ‘Khazan,’ the ancestor of all Slayers and the one who defeated Hismar the Berserk Dragon, proceeding to uncover the truth of his downfall within the empire.”
