It has been 14 years since the original Borat movie released. Sacha Baron Cohen created the hilarious character back in 2006 as he travelled to the United States to learn more about its culture. The Borat sequel, dubbed “Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” was filmed in secret for the past few months and is set to release on 23 October 2020.
In the first official Borat sequel trailer, Sacha Baron Cohen proves he is not holding back any punches as he ventures to a small town in America with his daughter. However, the world is a different place amid the coronavirus pandemic. The two characters wreak havoc on the town by visiting non-abortion clinics, there’s even a scene where Borat, while wearing a Trump costume, tries to deliver his daughter to Mike Pence.
The Borat sequel arrives at an intense time in America. 23 October marks just a few weeks before the presidential election takes place. Rumours of the film’s existence have been swirling around for some time now. Last month, Sacha was in Los Angeles driving a yellow pick up truck while wearing his iconic tan suit.
You won’t need to go to a cinema to watch the new Borat either. The film is set to release on Amazon Prime on 23 October 2020. Watch the official trailer for Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan down below.
